GPA Educational Award

Criteria for Educational Awards 

1.      Request for Educational Award must be relevant to perinatal issues and take place in the state of Georgia

2.       Credit for sponsorship or support must be given to the Georgia Perinatal Association (GPA)

3.       The request must be made by an active member of the GPA

4.       After the event, a brief follow up report, summarizing the educational event, must be submitted to the GPA

5.       If applicable, the GPA must be allowed to display its display board at the event

 

Handling process of Educational Award Request

 1.   Mail request to the Treasurer of the Georgia Perinatal Association

2.   Request should be handed in no later than one month prior to event with priority given to applications     submitted prior to the January annual retreat.

3.   Treasurer will consult two other members of the finance committee for approval and determination of amount of the award.

4.    Treasurer will notify applicant of the decision made on the request

5.    Treasurer will mail award after the brief follow up report has been submitted
